- In this two hour introduction, you will learn techniques on how to reduce pain through healthy thought and emotion regulation.

- This is a 6 week series group for individuals with chronic pain.
- This series will delve into the underlying causes of pain. Participants will gain tools that will allow better pain management and improved quality of life. Come to one or come to all of the groups!

Thoughts are Powerful
We don't realize the impact that our thoughts have on our moods and body.
Mood
Did you ever realize that your mood is affected by your thoughts? As humans, we experience a constant stream of thoughts often without being aware of it. If your thoughts are negative, your mood will naturally become negative. In therapy you will learn to gain awareness of your thoughts and begin to change them to become more positive and realistic. People are not born optimistic, but with practice it can become second nature. Become the gatekeeper of your mind!
Body
Have you ever realized that you feel worse physically when you are depressed or stressed out? When we feel upset, muscles tend to tighten, which only increases the pain and, in turn, can increase stress- a vicious cycle. Oftentimes, we neglect our healthy habits such as a good diet and exercise when we feel depressed, which only increases pain levels. When we live active lifestyles, natural endorphines and chemicals responsible for happiness flow more, improving mood and reducing pain. Mental health and physical health go hand-in-hand.
As an unbiased support, I can help you to gain awareness to negative thoughts and provide tools to help you to master them.
